I'm Back!

Who knows for how long! It has been so long, I forgot how to post. School started 10 weeks ago...Charlie and John Paul started football followed by 3rd and 6th grade. Annelise and Courtney had TWO swimming practices a day...Annelise started High School...Courtney started 8th Grade...Summer came...Summer went. Chuck and I decided we are NOT going through another summer without a driver! That's about it in the nutshell! I am going off track next Wednesday. Maybe I will have time to clean the house!!

No longer a Cub Scout!

Arrow of Light

If you know me well...you probably know I am not a big fan of scouts. All my hobbies are not requirements of scouts. (Well, except using the power saw). So, as you can imagine that the guy upstairs has a great sense of humor. Because of this humor, my boys LOVE scouts. I am becoming a better sport about this being that I have two scouts in the family now. Charlie turned 11 and became a "real" Boy Scout and right when that happened, John Paul turned 8 and became a "Cub". So, here we go on round two. Those of you with more than two boys...I feel sorry for you! Charlie is starting to work on his merit badges and is already determined to get all of them...we will see about that! He is also looking forward to the 2010 Scout Jamboree next summer. John Paul has now been a Cub Scout for 4 weeks, and we have not done one thing! It's about time we get started!

Olympic Swimmers??

Charlie ready to swim the 100 Free
John Paul starting the 50 Breast

What a good looking little guy!
This last swim meet was the Red White and Blue meet in American Fork over the weekend holiday. Annelise and Courtney swam in the invitational in the afternoon and I didn't get any pictures of them. Annelise and Courtney LOVE to swim! Charlie and John Paul ENDURE swimming!
(2. transitive verb tolerate disagreeable things: to tolerate or accept somebody or something that is extremely disagreeable)
Their heart is in FOOTBALL! But football is only a seasonal sport lasting about 4 months. The other 8 months of the year they do not have the option of sitting on the couch being couch potatoes!! So, they must swim! It's great exercise and is good for the spirit!! Plus, they look really cute in those jammers ! This was their last meet before football begins. Hopefully they change their minds in the future and begin to love swimming like the girls. If not...hopefully they will be good football players!

All you great bloggers out there!

I feel as though I am pretty competent with the computer but I need help! How do you put a photo and a caption under it? Everytime I add a photo it changes the format of my writing and it messes it all up! I see so many blogs with photos and text underneath it. I need a blog tutorial...who can help me??

Where did the time go??

It seems just like yesterday that we took these picutres!! Annelise was our first child. What fun we had! She was such a good baby and so fun to dress up!
Now she is 15 and almost ready to drive. We can hardly believe it. Annelise is the life of the party! She loves to go out and have a good time. She has been such a great example to her brothers and sister.
She is kind to others and always makes good choices. She has great friends and is a wonderful piano player. Annelise swims for Bingham and is excited to start high school this year!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNELISE!
