Temple Square December 23, 2007

Tonight we spent the evening at Temple Square. Our friend Will was singing in the Assembly Hall, so it gave us a reason to go. It was wonderful!! I love to take our kids to cultural events and teach them about music. Right now, they are all taking piano (except John Paul) He is still too young. The other night the kids were playing music with their cousins and John Paul dissapared and he was hiding in the laundry room a little upset. Chuck asked him what was wrong and he replied "I don't have a talent." I guess we have to find him one!! We are on the countdown for Christmas like all of you!! Hope you all have a wonderful one!!

Week of School Programs

What a week! It seems as though everyone plans everything the few weeks before Christmas. Charlie and Courney had a choir performance, Courtney was in the 6th grade Shakespeare play and we had our annual first grade Christmas program. At school we have been singing Christmas songs since September!! Watching a first grade Christmas Program is just about the funniest thing in the world. The kids won't sit still, they can't remember their lines or where they are supposed to be. And, we have been rehearsing for at least 6 weeks. I just tell myself that the parents are only looking at their child and don't care about anyone else!! Of course the star of the show was John Paul...since he is the teacher's pet!!

I guess now that 3 out of 6 members of my family have blogs I will join and make it 4. I can't promise you many posts because of our busy schedule but I will try my best. Welcome to the Baggett Family Blog!
